It's mainly a tip up lake, shallow. The guys that are hooking me up with numbers, had 47 flags yesterday with 22 pike! I hope to catch my first pike through the ice....then on to some walleye spots.
This lake is drivable as well. 12+ and building more this week...

Well all I can say is, AMAZING! What a beautiful lake!! Ice was great 15 to 18" totally drivable. Caught my first pike through the ice. I am looking for a cottage on the lake to rent for a month next year. I would make it available to IFO members that want to come up and have the ice fishing exp of a lifetime. 8 hours drive affordable and awesome!

Another nice pic as well.
So here anow update.
Found a nice cabin on a smaller lake close to Kosh (15mins) with great pan fishing. We can walk on to the ice from the cabin.
I plan to have a permanent shanty for the month and will have a local guide for the first fishing day of the weeK each week. I will post some pics of Shawn the day we couldn't go...of course.
The cabin has room for 4 so I will have room for 3 guys each week. I'm figuring that is a bargain for $200 for up to 6 nights, one day with a local guide, a permanent shanty as home base on Lake Kosh and I'm will provide super 5 nights a week.
Bring your favorite grilling food as its tradition to cook lunch on the ice.
There are quite a few different lakes in the area and all of them are usually drivable by December. This year was different but next year should be back to normal .
Kosh is a large lake (8 mi in length apprx) but shallow like Buckeye. Huge crappie require some chasing. Walleye early and late. Lots of trophy pike on tip ups you have to experience.
