This is an ice fishing website. How could anyone be happy with this years ice conditions? I'm really scratching my head on this one.........Mark

Yes and no.  Obviously I wanted to fish more and later in the season, BUT, we all got to get out a lot more than last year.  Got to use my new Jason Mitchell rods to ice a 14 1/2" crappie.  I'm happy it was better than last year.  Next season will be even longer I think. :D

 :D.  I'm already laying the ground work for a trip to Minnesota , the playground of the North . Called my son,Goose, in Va and my son in law .Told my wife and put  away the seed money. I will be on the ice for more than a 1/2 day next year . Now I can hear the rattle reel bells as a fish takes the bait .

Yep,next year i will spend a few days at lake mille lacs,macs twin bay has yet to let me down!
