Yep!! Looking up. We'll be on some ice by next Monday at the latest!!!

Hopefully before monday. Carpal tunnel surgery on the other hand tuesday. That will sut me down for a week.
-
Just to help out, I have unplugged all my electronics from the chargers, having them ready for ice. If I am not ready, maybe we will get some fishable ice again.
You are welcome guys!

Lee:
The Skeeter ice should be good, solid & safe by the time your recovery is done & you're ready to hit the ice again. Best Wishes next week on the other hand.
-
I am always optimistic about ice fishing Jonny. You have to be in Ohio. LOL. Good luck on your carpal tunnel surgery Lee. Hope you have a short recovery time so you can get on the ice.
-
yeh good luck on the surg, I just wish erie would freeze up, anything beyond that is a bonus.. ;D ;D ;D

I'm with you snowcone, I wish Erie would freeze too. If it doesn't by early Feb., may have to do a road trip to satisfy my addiction.

Glad it's went well for you!! Hope this surgery is as successful!!
-
I'm out for a week too - had a heart scare yesterday, spent the night in hospital, everything is fine however; I won't be able to fish for a week.....
-
Glad to hear you're OK Andy. Take it easy. The fish will wait
-
oh man better take a break its lousey out anyway 8)

Definitely rest up! Long term doesn't look good anyway. Rest up and save your strength so you can be healthy for February when we're on some good ice!
-
Sorry to hear that, hope everything is ok.
-
Glad to hear your surgery went well Lee. Hopefully you will be strong enough to handle your shanty when round 3 comes. Glad to hear you are ok Andy. Rest up and get ready for round 3 of ice or more dock fishing. I would be happy to drag your gear out for you and drill your holes if need be.

I'm ok guys - thanks though! I had a-fib (atrial fibrillation - high/irregular heartbeat). The scary part was that I had all the signs of a heart attack (left arm hurting, chest pains, headache, cold sweats etc). The symptoms subsided in the ambulance on the way to Riverside Methodist and tests (loads of them - my arms looks like a pin cushion) showed my heart to be in good shape and a decent level of fitness.
I feel like I've run a marathon so need rest for a few days....
Andy
