was wondering how the ice was looking and how thin is the ice around old holes

I spoke to Firefish earlier and he was fishing at North Fork. He reported that the ice was holding fast and that in his opinion it looked like it should hold out just fine.

fished all day and the ice is fine but check it before you go the current created by the rain not only thins the top but the current thins the bottom
