Wow look what a little cold weather can do for the soul! With Temps like these we will be walking on water in no time. I don't no if the site can handle so much traffic, make all your final preparation for the fun ahead. Can you hear it? Absolutely ... all the gear is coming out of storage. Put line on my new tip ups.. charging batteries... new heater.... TIME TO ICE!!!!! Cant wait!!!!!

 Safety should always be your number one priority. No fish is worth your life. First ice is great fishing but also the time to be extra careful, especially with snow on the ice. Luvztaphish hit it on the head, spud spud spud and spud somemore. Spud your way out and back to ensure your safety. Safety gear that icebucketjohn listed are a must as are extra clothes. Be safe and good fishing.
