Title: The good thing about a crappy ice season
Post by: 30inthabucket on January 31, 2017, 05:31:02 PM
Well I've found a plus side to the warmer than average winter. You can get some good deals on ice gear. Just picked up a frabill ice suit and a bro series rod for a hundred bucks and change on ebay. Plus cabelas has most of their ice stuff 20% off on their website. Seems like everyone is trying to unload their inventory.  At least I'm paying less for the gear I barely get to use. Lol

Picked up a Shappell FX 100 one-man shanty (Dunham's, 32% off MSRP) and an Ameristep Doghouse ground blind for hunting (Walmart, 48% off MSRP) just yesterday.  Let the good times roll!

Will have to start shopping. Wish Bass Pro Shop had more ice gear. Seems all I ever get is Bass Pro gift cards.
