Indian Ice Conditions
« on: January 12, 2012, 05:16:11 PM »

Well the good news is the weather took care of the ice on Indian everywhere I went there was open water and very little ice With the weather changing and getting colder for 3 to 4 days I am guessing Tuesday or weds for ice being safe I will keep everyone posted and let you know when it is safe. If I feel it is safe I will call Dave and have him post it as soon as I can get on the ice

Be careful, there are 40's and rain in the forecast again.  I am about ready to put all the ice gear away for the season.  with high winds and no skim ice, there may not be much building of safe ice.

There is skim ice in some places and with the temp in the teens it's only going to build.  The thing I hope for is to keep the snow accumulation to a minimum.
Keep the faith!
