Title: perch fishing

Going out on sat to lake erie on a perch charter hopefull the fish will be good.

How was the perch bite? I did not so well two Saturdays ago. fishe out of wildwoods east of Cleavland.  :'(

well fishing sucked today the lake has a green film over the top about every where we went there was about 40 people on the boat and one perch was caught one sheep head and i think 3 white bass so all ican say is bring on the ice because i ready to caught some fish.

Sorry to hear your trip wasnt good. You should have done what you do to bring the fish in the winter.

Wow, that's to bad. Any ideas why the water was like that.

I know we were up there last weekend for our championship and there was a ton of wind and the lake was muddy.

Maybe the lake is turning over?

I am sure it will pick up soon.

I heard it was because of all the run off rain we have had and the was alot of flooding up that way so there was alot of drains that got back up and forced in the rivers that ended up in the lake.

Same situation as Grand Lake St. Marys. I can't believe how bad it is..! You can also see it plane as day from a satellite phote. It is as thick and nasty as the year ST. Marys was deemed off limits. If something is not done soon in regards to farm run off it will soon be the dead sea and that just kills me! A lot of post and pictures on OGF.
