Where did you get them from.

Not aloud to say the companies name on this site anymore.

If you ever fish Perch, they have a balanced jig series that is great for stirring up the bottom. I like the 45 degree jigs as much as anything I fish with and I use them year round, but in the winter, those balances are very useful.

These are not the same company as the ones your talking about.

We'll have to compare notes on epoxy vs. hand paints. Looks to me like you have both here. Are these from the Michigan distributer? The one at the bottom on the right almost looks like a Bentley?

Its from a michigan Manufacture. The quality is better then Bentley.

The top pic is more of a hybrid then a straight handpaint.

Nano is not a braid, think of it has a mono that just so happens to be made out of Dyneema. Here is my review on this line.

So I haven't been able to write much over the last month(working at the new tackle shop trying to get it open by the time ice hits)but I have been working on a few ice fishing pieces and this is the newest one I have finished up.Its about Tungston Jigs, it has a little history lesson in it and also lets you guys know a few of the companies out there that make them and also got a few quotes from a few guys you might know in there. Let me know what you think.

Tungsten the future is now!

« on: November 28, 2011, 10:35:02 PM »
Well I can now let the cat out of the bag about this one. Recently the owner of Sportsmen's Direct came to me and asked if I would run his brick and mortar retail store for him. After some thought and many chats I ended up taking the job.

So if any of you are heading on up to the big pond here in Michigan to do some Perch fishing stop on by.It will be open here in a few weeks just in time for the ice.

here is the address

36072 Jefferson Ave
Harrison Twp, Mi 48045

General Discussion / Re: Scent
« on: November 28, 2011, 09:42:24 AM »
Here something to think about. Have you ever notice that when the air gets colder you smell things a little better. That because the air is thicker and smell move slower away from there source but stay stronger.

Now think about the fish world. The water get heavier has it cools and things will stay suspended in it longer when the water is cool. There for so will your scent which means the fish can smell and taste better.

So to answer your question yes scent can be very important during the colder water periods I think it is more important then in the warm periods.

If Michigan plays like they did last Saturday I hate to say it the buckeyes have no chance.
