Title: First softwater fish of 2014, 3/27/14

Thought I would let everyone know I caught 6 bass 11" to 14" at a 2 acre farm pond south of Logan, Ohio. 5 bass were caught on crappie minnows fished 3' under a float. 1 bass was caught on a jointed floating Rapala. I was kind of surprised as the pond had ice on it last week. I missed as many as I caught and had 2 hooked that got off. I had 3 poles with minnows in the water from 1:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m on Friday 3/28/14 and never had a bite or lost a minnow. Go figure.

that had to be fun getting out and putting some early fish on the grass  ;D  good deal
