So how do fish really react to the noises of heavy feet and sleds moving over the ice??
Several of my spots are directly in the path where people would normally walk everyday to get on or off the ice, but ive never actually sat down durring normal hours or normal conditions to fish them... What are some opinions?

Yes the fish are affected!!

When it comes to Erie ice, after the first day the fish begin to move further and further out and scatter due to the loud ice drilling and snowmobiles

It's amplified in shallow water

i agree the do react, on a recent trip to LI with ratherbe, firefish, john, dave, and pete12, when pete would fire up his motorized auger 5-10 yards behind us we would emeditly git hit. the noise seem to git the fish moveing. so its not always a bad thing.
