A few off the lakes on my list for this year are Salt fork,
peidmont, and Clendening. Whats yours? Not the lakes you fish every year but the ones you want to fish that you don't usually get too. I grew up fishing these three but haven't been back to fish them on hard water in years, my soft water spots still seem to produce I wonder if my hard water spots are still good.

Salt Fork is also on my list.  I'd also like to try Indian, I've never fished that lake thru the ice, and only once soft water from shore.  But closer to home is Turkeyfoot, on the Portage Lakes.  Fished it plenty on soft water, but never on ice.  I'm always on Nimi or Deer Creek.  Really want to give Turkeyfoot a try.

read an odnr report that lecompte has a very good population of good sized saugeyes in it. talked with a fellow last winter at indian and he said he does real good during softwater season on saugeyes but has never ice fished it.

the time you spend fishing cannot be deducted from your life...
