Going to be hitting the ice tomorrow and was wondering how things are holding up?  I can't get out today, but will be on ice first thing in the morning and was wondering about edges and run off. Plank or no plank?  Want to get 2 or 3 more trips in before it's over for the year. Looks like it might be done by the weekend.  :-\

Indian is still good. 12 to 15 inches. Edges are good. Fish are biting. Main channel entrance to the reserve

Ice was great still today at Nesmith. Edges fine, fishing was a little tough, but all the bluegill I got were 8" or bigger. I only got a few, but they were my biggest fish of the season. I'll post a report layer in the portage lakes section.
