If the forecasts come true and the wind stays calm, ice will be here soon. Christmas may come early this year. Can't wait. Bring on the cold.

My pond has a skim over 1/2 of it. So I went over to Kizer Lake and seen a skim on the east side about a 100' out, then went to Indian to check it out water temp. at Blackhawk was 40. The earliest I have got on the ice was Nov. 30 8-10 years ago at moundwood on Indian.

I've been so busy lately that I haven't been on here. I let Dave know as well. I knew one of the two of you would let the good people know.
The great news is that the average temps are going to be low enough each day to keep Indian Lake close to the freezing point leading up to the next cold snap.
Thanks for posting my ice sighting Scott.

My pond is 85% skimmed over this morning!!!! ;D
