Title: Shanty Fishing

Knowing that no ice is ever safe ice, what thickness would you think is safe to have two guys a heater and shanty set up? I see all these charts for walking snow mobiles and trucks etc...

may I add 4" of GOOD ICE! For example,was out Thursday,but now we have rain mixed with snow and warm weather=not exactly the same ice I was on Thursday!
 Just putting this out there for some of the less experienced anglers.

Great advice color is everything clear 4 inches awesome cloudy 4 inches be careful and remember the only safe ice is the ice in your cocktail that reminds time to fill up again Rum and coke you taste so good still cant get this peyton manning hymn out of my head
