Title: Erie on Sunday
Post by: ICE COLD on February 05, 2015, 06:42:16 AM
Headed to Camp Perry on Sunday, first time there this year. Any tips on baits, depth or how far to go will really be helpful. We will be on a snowmobile.

Need to watch where you park, there are new parking restrictions.
When going off the beach need to stay a couple hundred yards east of the pier, bad crack to cross.
Need to get north of Locus Point then head west north west towards the reefs, Round Reef, Niagra Reef have been producing fish.

Fishing has been really slow this week for most. Old man and a friend smacked em pretty good though yesterday in the deep water.

If E can be your destination, I would suggest going off from Catawba State Park.

Yesterday there was deep snow and slush underneath in spots, very tough going on a quad. Tracked transportation would be the way to roll right now.
