Been doing a lot of driving around today and the ponds and small lakes I've seen haven't been faring well. Actually seen some open water.  :( Have the big lakes done better such as Nimi?

OK. Thanks. Need my plank for Thursday looks like. Hope to get on one before this weekend. After weekend I think we'll be waiting a week or so to fish again.

You might wanna bring your boat instead of a plank.

Fished a few local ponds today, I don't honestly think it will be fishable tomm. They were 7 inches thick sunday. Melting fast!

Local pond is melting, standing water on it. Scioto is melting but there's quite a run on the river so the melt is understandable. Looks like the North Columbus area is well into a melt. I expect Alum will be the same......I hope to find somewhere to fish this weekend....

Newbie to ice fishing but loving it!
