Well i took the belly boat out with waders on. It would have worked well if they went up a little higher. They are to small and water came in eventually over the top.
I did fish wet for about 3 hours and landed 1 cat and around 20 small crappie. If you want to have fun get your ice gear out and mount your vex with velcro and it works just like ice fishing.
