Looks like I am going to give it a try this afternoon... Has anyone had any luck lately?
I am a little fish hungry and I do not ahve to time to run to Indian!
-
How did you do yesterday? Haven't fished out there in a few years wanting to give it a try this weekend.
-
It was definitly not Indian lake that is for sure... >:(
To be honest I did have a very good time...I probably caught at least 40 bluegills or more in a matter of two hours.
I caught one trout about twelve inches and a perch that went about ten inches.
I took home 10 bluegills in the eight inch range...the fishing is fast and furious...I lost one fish that buried my pole I would assume it was a trout on the run but again who knows! (A person would know him hence he has two ice jigs hanging from his mouth!)

Thanks for the report, and glad you had a decent time. Fishing is usually fast and furious I just need to work on locating certain species better on my part.

Maybe I'll give it a shot this weekend if the ice is still safe. How much ice did u have?

I had six inches so I would guess it should be safe... remember it is deep so going through at Lima Lake is not like going through at Indian!
