Has anybody ice fished here this year? If so how did you do?
-
been there twice. last time on 12-27. got some decent cats and lots of small gills.
-
Sounds like the usuall.
-
i go there for the cats. can't keep 'em off your hook. lots of fun through the ice.
-
I have ice fished there a dozen times or so and yes they are fun. Just wish I could find some slab crappies there.
-
till about 2 years ago, i never caught a crappie through the ice there. fishing for bluegills anywhere else, you get one now and then. lately i've caught a few, but they're small, and not many. i've heard there's some nice ones in there, but i've never got one over 8".
-
I hear ya on that. I've never got any good size crappie or gill there. I got some nice gills at Pleasant Hill yesterday. ;D
-
where were you at, if you dont mind me asking, and how was the ice?
-
Do you know where the area is where they allow the boaters to swim? About 30 yds south of that 26 fow.
-
not sure, is that on the west end north of the lodge?
-
Just go past the cliffs and lodge it will be just past the 1st cove.
