Here's what I came up with to store, transport & use my Mr. Buddy Propane Heater while ice fishing in my Clam Nanook:  No worries of it tipping over and/or burning anything.

Cool idea, and the crate doubles for storage.  ;D

I'm looking to buy a propane heater for my Shappell 3000. It has a floor area of about 22 square feet. I'm looking for a heater that will heat it, but not too much. Any suggestions on a make/model or heat output(BTU's) I may need for the task?

The buddy heater will be more then enough for most shantys. Most days even on low it will blow me out of the shanty after it heats up. Its nice when I can sit in my shanty in jeans and a long sleeve tshirt when its 10 degrees and the wind is blowing. I use my buddy heater in my 8x8 shed turned into my workshop and it works great. Have it mounted on the wall and hooked up to a 20lb. tank just outside the door. It runs for ever on a 20lb. tank.
