Woke up to 2 degrees this morning.  ;D  Looks like we'll be fishing soon!  Doubt it'll be truly safe by the weekend, I've got a bad feeling about trying it tomorrow or Friday.  Normally I would push it but this year I have a weird feeling about getting on too soon. Hopefully by Sunday some bays might be frozen enough to fish on, if not next week is good for ice making and I will be fishing somewhere next week.  ;D

I know I will wait until next weekend. I live an hour south of Indian and don't trust the ice yet with the snow cover. Hope the rain and wind don't destroy it too much Fri.

Trust your senses, my pond had 3" last week, then we had the thaw. Went out tonite after work to check and it was maybe 2".
What is weird is there is an open water area30x50ft. It has never frozen like this.
I think the high winds might have kept it open, but it has been damn cold.
Be safe.
