Sunday June 16th go to pond with Nephew catch 10 keeper gills on#16 hook under a bobber with drop shops underneath and bread and soft plastics. See 2 girls catch a crappie on a jig and soft plastic combo.
Monday night June 17th come back with Grandpa Bob's dry fly and catch and reel it in under a bobber catch 2 crappie
Tuesday night June 18th same thing catch 1 crappie and a lunker bass just dragging it on the bottom no bobber
Wednesday night went to a new pond with same technique cast out and reel in/drag in caught 30 keeper gills no crappie or bass
Last night return to same pond as earlier in the week and get skunked...high pressure is the only reason I can think of
Sorry I haven't been reporting as much - been busy with life.
Ice fishing in the summertime is in full swing- I usually burn through most of my winter inventory in the summertime- great time to stock up on new jigs- yourbobbersdown.com had had fiskas on sale all summer long.
