I use Muck's Arctic Pros. Very warm and easy to take on and off. Only need a decent pair of wool socks and your feet stay hot!

Buddy and I hit up a small metro park pond in Wadsworth today and managed to get a couple of gills and trout! Felt good to be out but we had to exercise extreme caution, the ice was sketchy at best. Hope we get a deep freeze soon.

I bought a new Jiffy 4G 41 this summer, thanks Amazon, and its broken already without drilling one hole......But, Jiffy's customer service is standing behind their product and getting me back up and running.
Story:
Got the jiffy ready for its maiden voyage this past Thursday but the auger bit wouldn't turn???
I disassembled the auger and come to find the clutch totally came apart from the engine and the set screw was completely stripped so there is no chance the auger bit can turn. Bummer. I contacted Jiffy and they are sending me a brand new unit and took ownership of the problem without any hassle. I am really impressed with their customer service and their stance behind their products. I'm getting a new powerhead by Friday and paying to send back the defected power head.
I hope you all don't have to go through this but Jiffy really impressed me with their service and have a satisfied customer even with not ideal circumstances.
Please stay cold. Tight lines.

CrapPie, Ive been using the 45 all season and it is awesome. The screen is very large which makes it easy on the eyes. Has a great zoom feature that allows you to zoom anywhere in the water column. The thing that could be better is Humminbird's target separation. For the features and overall performance, I feel you get a great product. I've ran two full days and never got close to draining the battery. I am very happy with it.
