was there also .9 guys  were out due east of state park marina. didn,t care for the look of the ice. didn,t take much for the spudbar to go thru. watch as all the guys go only 1 with a spudbar. fished the dock with another guy caught some small perch and bluegills

took a ride to the marina. talked to 2 guys fishing the dock lots of fish marked but no biters I 2 hours. not much more then 1 inch or so all around the lake. hope to check some ponds. hopefully this weekend somewhere.

drove entire lake best ice I could find was in the state park marina at 2 to 2 1/2 in. half the thickness is mostly cloudy.

mostly skim ice went to state park marina fished off the docks thru the 1in. of ice caught 20 dink perch and 1 11in. perch

fished coalberg lake outside of hubbard managed 4 doz. gills and 9 crappies most all of them o gold pinmin w/ proppeler blade pacted with maggots 3.5 inches of clear ice. snow really hurt

used different color pinmins small ice jigs all tipped with maggots or waxworms.the 2 guys fishn same area drilled 50 holes using small vibes pimples ants  fished this pile lots of times never been skunked on it

thers a big tree on the point to the rightof the barge .300 paces northwest or aim for the state park jettys theres a new bouy  maybe 75yards to the left

spent 4 hours on a brushpile by the handycap barge drilled 30 holes marked fish but no bites lots of people out from 305 lots of people coming and going

at least 4 in. most everywhere i drilled . marked fish basically all 4 hours.drilled at least30 holes all on abrushpile dropoff not one hit.went to a small lake in boardman kept 30 gills .lots of shantys out from 305

small private lake outside of boardman.my buddy caught his small spoons kastmasters and a small black hairjig that he kept calling the black death. i got mine on a small red glow jig my buddy makes but i tried a number of different jigs all tipped with maggots could not get down fast enough buddy was even getting them on small rapula
