Well I fished the last day sunday and took a friend who has never caught a walleye before. It was a rather slow day but we did manage to get her some fish and that was my goal for the day. We fished out of Crane sw of a can, red/chrome jigging rap got fish, lots of marks but not many takers.

Today was my last day. Fished a few hours this morning NW of Kellys and only marked 2 fish with no takers. Only caught 3 Sun. and it was an evening bite. Did get my personal best Sat., 31 in. 13 lb. She is going on the wall. Already chomping at the bit for next year.

Monday 3/9 was my last day. Absolutely a gorgeous day. We found fish on our 3rd move, 3 miles due north of Catawba. Buddy and I limited out plus. Released 2 10 lb'ers kept a 12 lb'er all hogs biting only one eater. Ice condition still good, no major cracks, a bit slushy on the way in. My best day ever, and I'm no spring chicken ( 66 yrs old) Lake Erie rules!!
