about 2" clear then out about 30 yards the ice becomes honeycombed and unsafe. That should freeze solid within days then another couple days and MAYBE this weekend. Congress Lake rd was OPEN

Never been to mogadore. With this wind that may be the only fishable ice I see. What part of the state is it in I am 30 minuets west of Cleveland

77s to 224 e to rt 43 n it will take you accross the middle of the lake
the time you spend fishing cannot be deducted from your life...

I would almost rather sit at home and play my ice fishing video game then fish the 2 ft. of water at Palm rd. Hopefully CLR will be ready by the weekend or it would be even better to be on The Foot.

i agree fishin palm rd is too say the least a last resort....getting on any other part of the lake will produce better fish...im hoping mogadore does get good ice i have a spot by the islands that i will play a hunch on..all you guys new to mogadore the water under rt 43 always moves ...there are 3 good places to get on ..
lansinger rd just down from mogadore bait,,,rt 43 park,, and congress lake rd,
the time you spend fishing cannot be deducted from your life...

How far can you drive back on the back road from Old Forage? Its been awhile since I was on that part of the lake. I spent a lot of summers driving up and down that road fishing all the bays and points. There is a lot of good fishing on that side of the lake. Its to bad that they shut a lot of it down to traffic. Thats a long walk down that road.
