With these conditions I could literally watch the ice melting at the big lake neat the gravel pit I was working by. The open water just kept getting bigger. Now what we need is a complete melt and refreeze for the safest round 2. With next week's forecast I think we'll get another shot!  ;D

Judging by the next weeks weather, I doubt if we get a 2nd round. Keep praying I am wrong but we will see.
