getting worse.. Moundwood has 8-10, Northfork has a good 6 and LI has 3-4. All slush some places have a couple inches of water and long island along the shore is getting pretty bad.

Heh ya ice fishing is addictive, ask my wife. Ya know right before the ice I fished the same spots and did very well, usually picked up several everytime I came and still using vibes. But even last year on the ice I did decent. Seems like theres more people this year and I wonder if the fish are just getting burnt out on the same ol lures?

I tried mixxing it up yesterday and still not much luck, heard of a couple, one being the six pounder, caught on repelas, if u ask me i think its the amount of pressure the fish are receiveing, at northfork alone there had too be 200 people, i would bet if u ventured from the pack u would probley do well, but remember to be safe.

saturday me and my friend went to north fork and fished for some eyes because panfishing up there has been really bad for me this year. I thought we did good had 9 keepers and 5 get off at the hole witch two were 4 to 5 pounds didn't have a gaf bought one on the way home. I found a flat in 5 foot of water the flat was 25 feet x 30 feet and there was 4 of us that caught a lot of fish from that flat in the morning my friend went out at dark ang caught his limit in 45 min from the same holes. good luck polarbear
