Parking at Long Island
« on: January 06, 2018, 02:06:09 PM »

I seen all the new trespassing signs at the pull off right before thr bridge. Does anyone know if you can still park there without getting a ticket or towed?

I saw a post the other day that they're enforcing the no parking there. Sucks because it's a hell of a walk when you have to park elsewhere.

Is there anywhere else to legally park at long island/O'Conner's besides the bridges?  I have not been to that area for a few years.

There are a few places;

Long Island 1st Pull Off - used to access the  Pony Island side
Long Island 2nd Pull Off - used to access North Fork
Long Island Bridge (LHS of the Road) - used to access North Fork and other areas
O’Connors - used to access North Fork

I usually park at 2nd Pull Off or the Bridge.

I’ve attached a map showing rough locations....
