It's slowly getting here....been looking at the NOA ice/snow charts over the past few weeks and the cold is slowly moving south. Once El Niño calms we'll have ice...

You'd only need two for Ohio - right? Or, would these class as tip-ups if you're using them remote to where you're actually fishing?

Hi it's Andy from ICEWOW, you'll be saying wow every time!
Tired of waiting for ice?
Broke from buying gear?
Not won the pot at the dock tourney?
Well, have we got something for you!!
This is for the upstairs restroom,
The master bathroom,
The powder room,
The outside restroom,
ICEWOW is the fastest way to catch fish from your own restroom, it just does the work.
Why would you want to get your gear on and go looking for ice when you can bring the fish to you?
It comes with plenty to catch and is made in China – you know that China always makes good stuff.
You can move it anywhere, use one downstairs and put one upstairs.
Catch a Crappie while you take a crappie!
Just set-up the fishing mat
Put the fish on it
Sit down
Fish away…..right are you following me camera guy?
It even comes with a high-tech “Do Not Disturb" Sign.
See what I’m telling ya? ICEWOW you'll be saying wow every time!
Here’s some words from our fans:

I can't live without it, I just love it!
Oh my gosh I don't even think about ice fishing anymore
If you're practicing for ice fishing, you'll be out of your mind not to own one of these.
All I can say is ICE! WOW!

You're gonna spend twenty dollars every week looking for ice, you’re throwin away your money!
The ICEWOWS are for catching everything, for everyday use.
This last ten years, ice lasts 8 weeks, I don't know it sells itself.
The ICEWOW sells for $19.95
But if you call now, within the next twenty minutes cause we can't do this all day, we'll give you a second ICEWOW absolutely free. So that's 2 ICEWOWS for $19.95. It comes with a ten year warranty, here's how to order.:

Call 1-800-423-9699 (1-800-ICE-WOWW)
ICEWOW is available in stores and is made in China beware of ICEWOW imitators, call 1-800-423-9699 that’s 1-800-423-9699  call now

We had 27F in Powell, OH last night.....first sign of cold weather we've had. It will be a while before we get anything to sustain a freeze. I think mid-late January is a good estimate...

General Discussion / Re: Sled runners

BTW amazon had the best price I found on em

Yes Sir, ordered last night & found a good tip from a youtube video
use a slightly smaller 5/32 bit to drill your pilot holes so that the screw will hold tight while you tighten the nuts.https://youtu.be/t4VVrYfJa68

I saw the same video. I'll watch it again before I install the runners. The challenge I see is their not being profiled slots to fit the runners in like on the other Otter Sleds. I'll portably use a temporary wood spacer to get the runners parallel.

Andy

When you do the install make sure you silicone both sides of the nut and bolt.   Your shanty will never leak if the snow or ice melts. I didn't do that on my first shanty and had a leaky tub,but my last 2 have been dry as a bone even with 1 or 2 inches of water on the ice.

That's a good tip.....thanks!

I've had some new toys delivered early from Santa:

- Runner kit for the sled
- Carry bag for Little Buddy Heater
- Another Frabil Black Ops Rod
- Whistle
- Bait Box
- Random Tungsten Jigs
- Auger Cover

My ice fishing set-up is pretty much complete....yay!

I just got a runner kit for my Otter Sport Sled. They don't make a kit specifically for the sled so I'll be adapting the runners to fit....
