Got my 2016 ice guide last night!  Looks like there's a lot of cool stuff in there. The season is getting close!

What is an ice guide and where do you get it? Sounds like something I may need if there is cool ice fishing stuff in it.

It's an ice fishing magazine In Fisherman publishes each year. I usually pick mine up at Walmart. It has some great articles in it on techniques to use for various species and shows new equipment and lures offered this year.

I always keep the mags & books from year to year.  Do a little reading and bone-ing up before the season.

I am like you icebucketjohn. I keep my past issues and reread them regularly to learn what techniques and lures might work in different situations.
