Since no ice yet as of Saturday 12/8/2018, spent some time in the basement shaking off the dust from the ice gear, equipment and tackle.....Cleaning & reorganizing tackle boxes, buckets and misc gear. Figuring out what new lures & tackle I need to purchase to replenish my bulging tackle boxes.
Haven't touched the rods yet, but that'll happen shortly.

Snowcone: Sounds like the dark clouds are over and you're heading into bright, sunshine skies. BEST WISHES.

... Made a Smitty last season (2017-2018) and absolutely loved it. It made pulling my Clam Nanook sooooo much easier. When the snow's are deep, I'll certainly be using it. Well worth the time, effort & money to have one.

Hit Long Lake for the very first time this season. Fished 5pm-7:30pm with Minnowhead Ray. No Shanty. Ice was 6-7" Thick. No Soft Spots. 6-7fow. Waxies & Spikes. Dink Gills & Perch. No redears. Ray iced 1 nice 11" Crappie. Kept the 3 Herons around for dinner. They ate until they were full. Extremely nice evening.. no wind or rain for a change. Got home in time to shower, dinner & watch & CAVS game.
