Anyone interested in meeting up and fishing the Maumee in the Toledo area for walleye this Sunday?

At Orleans park, just down from the boat ramp...

The bite sucked today, at least 100 fishermen out there and I didn't see ONE fish caught.  I left to get some dinner around two and came back for another hour. Went a little further downstream around the curve in calmer water and seen three caught and two foul hooked. So many guys not paying attention to their lines and getting them tangled up with other people's lines. They were even hooking the trees overhead.

Me too. The only time I like fishing around and with people is on the ice. Open water I prefer to fish alone, even on my boat. I've been hooked more than once fishing in a crowd like that.  Ams I don't mean my line, I've removed hooks from my person. That got old.  ;D  That said, I'd still go out with the guys I've meet on here, everybody I fished with had been great.  ;D

It was fun and I wanted to  try it but I can say it's a safe bet I'm not going there again...well on a weekend anyway. Funny thing is, I stopped by for about 20 minutes last Sunday when the water was at a normal level, watched 3 fish get caught...and there was maybe 20 guys there. Water goes up 5 feet, cant wade three steps from shore and 500 guys show up...I don't get it! LOL!
Oh well, my boat gets wet in 4  1/2 days!
