Buckeye lake / buckeye question

Hoping to come up that way next week sometime, just curious where fairfeild beach is. have fished the lake numerous times, but dont remember that location. is it the boat ramp directly off of 79, or the ramp directly across the lake from there?

is there any access to the deeper holes out in front of black-dog or heron bay canals? assuming its frozen

will be all over OH this year fishing tournaments(crappie and bass), anybody else on here compete?
Buckeye, Indian and GLSM for crappie(along with Caesers creek and East fork) Rocky fork, Cowan and Acton for Bass tournaments.
Always nice to say hey and put a faces with screen names.

Indian Lake / lookin for perch

coming up sunday for the day, would give and arm and most of a leg for a couple of them monster perch.

General Discussion / iced a few pond gills

monsters, biggest went all of 6", most were 3-4"...LOL
Seems to be a trend round here, first few days is dinkfest.
This was a very small pond, water level is about 2ft low, max depth now might make 8'. caught 1 crappie that a person could have considered eating, and one LM bass about the size of a ciggarette.

Man it was still awsome. Im certain this is the earliest ive ever been on the ice. This is across state lines (IN), south west of cincinatti.

Had 2.5-4.5 great ice. Some extremly dense ice.

General Discussion / vibe/spoon rod

what would be a good length/action/brand for a couple good rippin sticks?
Have never had a good walleye rod, just always got by with what i could find(youd be suprised what a panfish popper can catch...LOL).
Fishing mostly indian, you know what bait works there, what would you recommend.

HI, My name is Jason. Im a long time forum guy(numerous soft water forums), and also some other ice sites.
Along with my fishin parter, we do alot of competitve fishing during the spring summer and fall. Have always loved ice fishing, last few years have been great. Make numerous trips to Indian and Buckeye, along with loramie and Kiser.
Looking forward to the stiffwater season.
I go by Hillbilly, i seldom answer to my real name.
