Anyone fishing tomorrow, I'll be there, it's the 1st one I'm fishing this year and what perfect timing to work all the kinks outta my gear. I haven't had the chance to fish from the docks this year so I'll probably just be givin my money away but it will be worth it if I finish better than Hollhisle .

We are about to embark on a great season of hard water fishing, and I am as excited as the next guy or gal, but please be safe and consider the consequence of walking out on questionable ice. If you're not sure go home to fish another day. There is not a person on this site that will not be missed, we are all some ones child, husband, wife, brother, sister, parent, or friend. Be safe, never fish alone, and always carry a spud bar and rope.

fished the rocks today 1 11" crappie under float 12ft deep, 2 cats tight lining with bass minnow. not what I was after but they'll taste fine in a fish cake.

seen expanded forecast, 60 this weekend 60 next week end. Hopefully we'll get a deep freeze in feb.

Fished indian today on 3.5 to 5 inches of ice. The ice under snow was only 2" ( stay far away from snowy area) talked to a guy who said in the past 2 days he saw 4 guys go through. Fishn was decent caught 2 gills 2 white bass 5 shad and 2 eyes, lost 2 nice eyes at the hole and missed a dozen good bites. eyes were caught in 5.5ft of water on pimples and raps fished with minnow head, caught fish and had quite a few hits on jaw jackers with jig and minnow. Seemed to me the fish didn't want alot of action.

everything north of cheshire has skim ice, stump feild has 3" of ice 1.5 cloudy 1.5 clear. I might try to get on it fri. gonna check it again thurs.

Mikel, Mitch131, and myself went to wisc. for a week of ice fishing, and had a blast. The first day we fished a small lake ten yards from the front door of Mikes family cabin, and I caught my first pike ever, we ended up with 4 pike one nice largemouth, and several crappies. 2nd day we fished a lake an hr away and filled a 6 gal bucket of nice crappies. 3rd day we went to a lake mikes uncle lives on and again caught alot of crappies and as we were cleaning up to head in a flag went off and I caught a 5 or 6 lb walleye. 4th day we caught several pike at the cabin lake as we packed things up to move to a fish house. that night we caught several walleye from the fish house. 5th day we woke on the ice a began catching eyes and pike right away. Davek met up with us and we fished the house that afternoon and caught pike and eyes.6th day we moved to a crib near by and got on some monster crappie, I lost one in an 8" hole because it was too thick to pull through the hole, thats right a crappie. 7th day we went back to his uncles lake and caught alot of crappie, gills, pike, and perch. All in all the trip was great, Mikes family are some off the nicest people I have ever met and Mike showed us some great fishing. It was also nice to get the chance to fish with Davek again.
