For Information I found a place that does an excellent job of restoring Rods and reels in Springfield Ohio.   Don's Fishing  Rod & Repair Website is http://Donsfishingrodrepair.net .  Ph # 937 206-1032.  I and several friends have had many items repaired or restored and at reasonable prices. I have been to his shop so many times, I consider him a friend.
