As long as the ice is good Mitch131 and I will be headed up to try for some eyes.It would be great to meet up with some other IFO members on our last trip up. Any help on where to find some eyes would also be apperciated. I plan on being at Linda's at 7 am.

im getting ready right now to head out and see what is happening around the lake, im gonna fish today and mingle amongst the crowd and see what is hitting and were at, im planning on fishing sat. also with my buddy i fished the tournament with, if you guys want to met up with use you are more than welcome, i will post when i get back home

hey should u guys find good ice i might meet ya up there wouldnt mind getting one more trip in before i pack it in myself , i dont think my fishin bud will go hes la poulet....ha ha 8) ill keep track ok

i just got off the ice, it was still 8 to9 inches were i was fishin, i fished the south end, missed one BIG eye at the hole, i marked fish all day the bite was slow and they would only tap the bait, the one i had on slammed it though, they say they were catching eyes yesterday about were i was at, i fished 20 fow then moved into 14, they are there just not hitting, the shore line is a little shakey, im gonna fish friday and sat. hopefully as long as i fill the ice is safe, i dont think the north end is worth going to the water is brown and no one has been up there for 2 days i checked it out yesterday drilled a couple holes but didnt fish, there were quite a few guys down the south end at 305 launch and some right out from the dam, if anyone wants to meet up sat. let me know i would be more than happy to fish with yea. just give me a time and i will be there. thanks

hey mudpup thanks for the update i would like to go up sat should the shore hold up see what the temps do ;D maybe those fish just need a little coaxing .....if u light the fuse ill toss it in the hole..he he :P hey hard water u goin maybe????

Hey mudpup iseen u out on the ice I had thekillzone shanty. Crappies started hitting at dark 4 at 10" missed 5more stayed till 8 hope to see u out again.

There is a good chance I will be out on Saturday also. Where do you guys plan on fishing?

I think the south end would be better for eyes. I'm thinking 305 area or the cemetery. It might be worth a try.

im gonna hit the 305 boat launch saturday, i hope to fish it tommorrow to, were suppose to get 7 to 10 inches of snow tomorrow, hopefully its snow and not rain, you heading out tomorrow fish finder ? let me know if you are , i would like to fish with all you guys saturday it might be our last chance to hit it.

Well the word or words are HELL YEAH. Im ready for one last trip up. Im a Junkie. You cant get enough. Mitch Pm me your phone number and Ill call you tomorrow and we will get all the final details worked out. The more people that go the more chances some will hook an eye. Maybe someone will let me reel up theres because my luck has been horrible this year for them. ;D

Its going to be a good time. It will be even better if the fish are biting. Probaly will meet at the Causway at 7 am when linda opens so I can get some fresh bait and then go from there.

we got hit with one heck of a snow storm up here today, 5 to 7 inches of heavy snow, it looks like it will be a pretty good day here saturday, low winds and mild weather, even a little sunny. im gonna fish tomorrow [saturday], is everyone still gonna make it up to the lake sat.? i hope someone brings a digital camera so we can post these eyes were gonna catch, i cant get mine to download to the computer, hope to met some new people from the site saturday, name a place and time and i will be there, thanks, hopefully to see yea all tomorrow,

the storm has subsided and the roads cleared im headed up got my bait, so im ready but no one wants to go :P might be ridin up myself... where we gonna meet or fish ....?

We will be up there around 7am at Lindas. Mitch131, Eye4aneye and myself are coming up for sure. I will bring my camera for pics. Hope to see lots of guys up there. Looks like this may be the last weekend to get out. Hopefully the Fish Gods smile on us and we all catch big fish but if not it will still be a good time hanging out with with every one.

I got a late start today and fished from 1 to 6. My right leg went thru about 20 yards from shore on the way out. Not the way I wanted to start out the fishing day, wet all the way to my junk. Ice was 10" and good but 305 ramp has bad shore ice. On the way back in I could see where others went in. A few crappies and gills and one 14" eye. I lost 2 others at hole. Blue forage minnow tipped with a minnow head is what triggered the most hits.

Eyewall I think I may have talked to you at the ramp. I was one of the others that went through the ice. Only went up to just above my waist but it sure was cold. We did ok today. I caught around 40 to 50 gills and a few perch but most were dinks with a dozen being keepers. Fished in 13 to 19 ft. Had a great time fishing with mudpup, snowcone, mitch131 and eye4aneye. It was a great last ice trip. Have to get together more often next year.

yeah guys glad we all got together sat to head out for the final ice trip of the season. :-\ had alot of fun fishin with all you ifo krazys...caught some crappies,gills, and lost a nice eye at the hole :P sorry hardwater u got wet but all in all turned out pretty good heh? ;D glad this site could get us all together thanx dave... 8) be carefull out there some spots are bad along shore. :o ...hey hardwater i like your idea of the string lights inside ur shanty for light im goin to incorperate that into my shack :D i hope we can all get together again next freeze 8) so guys keep ur blades sharp,ur bait fresh,and most of all the love 4 doin something that most think is the edge of the twilight zone..right 8) stay posted..thanx...

I must say it was a great day. I have to give a VERY BIG THANK YOU to Eye4aneye and Snowcone. When I went through ice Eye4aneye drug my super heavy shanty and auger along with his gear all the way out to our spot while Snowcone drove me to walmart to get some dry cloths so I could go back out an fish. They didnt think twice about helping me and for that I owe you guys. You guys are awsome guys and good friends. We will deffenatly be getting out more often next year.

I fished Sunday out from the 305 ramp(skirted the bad spots). A few crappies and gills. My buddy caught a nice fat 23" eye on a Kastmaster tipped with a minnow head. What a fun year. I cant wait til next year. I wish I could have met up with you guys, maybe next year.

boy i cant wait untill next year just when the fun got started zam!!!! but i learned alot , had alot of fun, have a boat load of new info to use next year...and its because i happened upon this site and meet some new friends, reall bunch of crazy ifo's like me... ;D its not in the end how many fish u get but the adventure of the whole trip..right??? so give a person a fish and they eat for the day but teach a person to fish and the'll help u drill holes for life...he he he he he 8) 8) :P ;D so if u happen to stumble upon this site put it in your favorites and join the frozen band of people who would rather adventure out instead of couch fishing,,,he he he he he he he he ehe he :P C...YA....

Where did you guys fish? My buddy and I were North of the bush in the ice in 14' of water.

We were southwest of the bush in 13 to 18 ft. drilled a long line of holes and checked all but were mainly in 14 and 18
