Great Day today 1 6 2013

I want to thank Rob and Wylan for taking me out today. I had the best day in a very long time.

First, The ice was only 3 to 3.5 inches but clear. If you do not have a spud or  know the ice you should stay off until it gets thicker.

We were fishing in 7ft using Jigging rapala's, vibe's and Sweedish pimples.

The bite was steady all day. I ended up with 5 keepers but i missed another 15 bites. It was an awesome day.

Rob caught 5 and Wylan caught 4 and missed the same as me.

Congrats on your great day!!I live 20 minutes from there but im waitin for more ice.Hope we dont get a warm spell for long and mess the ice up!

NICE, man those are some nice fish. Never new Buckeye had that size in there. Might just need to make a 2 hr drive, oh well, give me a chance to hit sporting goods shop too, Mike

great job. looks like it was a good day to be at buckeye. would like to try buckeye this year. hope we get the cold weather next week so i can get a chance to fish it.

I knew I should have taken the day off yesterday and tried.  I'm not sure how the ice would have been but that was quite a day Dave n' crew!

Looks like it's gonna be a while till we get good ice again...

It is rare that i catchem but did.

It is going to get real cold after this warm up and will fish for at least 5 weeks this week.

I will be on Buckeye a lot this year.
