My buddy walked a 100ft off the pavilion today at wingfoot, but he didn't check the thickness though. The whole lake is locked up right now

Hey Nate, what's the ruling on ice thickness for a tournament?? Would we fish only safe areas and still keep a tourney or cancel it?? Just trying to figure out the nimi tourney logistics and what not. Would we move to a safe lake to get the tourney in ( lake already in the series)?
Thanks F2W

Hey quakpot, why don't you bring some of the Columbus boys up for the tourneys?? There a great time with good panfish lakes.

I was thinking to be fair to all fishing these events, why don't we make it your best 5 fish of each species! 5 crappie 5 sunfish 5 perch. I feel like last year all my partner and I had to do was find the big Crappie's and weed through the best 5. We never bothered to look for anything else. I think it would force teams to prefish all over the lake and maybe eliminate the home lake factor or up the fish count to 10 or so fish. Maybe if up the fish count we could donate all the fish fillets to a food bank or homeless shelter?? Just ideas

What national tourneys are you fishing?? I thought about fishing Kentucky lake crappie masters. Hope you do well at them. Little atom plastics are what I like. No enemies here crappie killer, we just like to bust balls.
