Hit the hardwater again this morning. A little slower than yesterday with post front conditions, blue skies and falling temps. Still in 12 fow but only 2' off bottom. White 5mm Kenders tungsten jig with Eurotackle micro finesse plastics. Took a friend out that hadn't been icefishing in years and showed him all the newest advancement and how to check ice on way out. He had a blast. Put a good rod and reel in his hands and showed him how to read the Vex. He was amazed and had never heard of using micro plastics for ice fishing. He took home about 20 nice gills and we released three bass. He's hooked and going to start looking for new gear and is ready to go again. Remember that NO ICE IS SAFE ICE. A great day when you can teach someone and get them hooked on ice fishing. :)

We didn't get hardly any rain, maybe 2/10's of inch of freezing rain and it didn't get above 32 degrees yesterday. They were calling for 37 degrees, thank goodness we didn't get it. No effect on ice at all here. ;D

Great job on catching a mess of gills and converting or reigniting a new hardwater enthusiast.
