Drove by Nesmith lake off of SR 93 and I-277 in Akron yesterday and the entire lake was locked in with ice under an inch thick. Don't know about the other lakes in Portage Chain, but ice should be ready by Friday or Saturday.
Inland Guide Service: Servicing NE Ohio lakes: Deer Creek, Atwood, Berlin, Dale Walborn, PLX, and Nimisila; for crappie, bluegill, saugeye, and walleye.

any updates??? I want to try the swampy corner. I nail bass there in the summer

Not ready yet. Drove by yesterday while plowing. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday if snow doesn't kill us tomorrow.
