Hit the ice today for about an hour in between errands. The ice was very thick, 10" avg., and zero slush on top. Where I was at was same as last week, which I just learned isn't actually part of PLX. Got into the big ones again. Bass, crappie, and bull gills. All came in 10-12' of water, 2-3' off the bottom, although the crappie were a couple feet higher. They came on a black tungsten jig tipped with 2 spikes. Pounding, then a qiuck lift followed by a slow, controlled drop would trigger bites. Here's some pics. Although the crappies were between 9-11" they were super-fat! I didn't keep anything though, they're all still swimming!
