Title: Anyone up fr steelhead fishing this weekend?

No ice within 2 hrs of me so I'm going steelhead fishing in the river. At least I can get out of the wind if I have to. I live smack dab in between the vermilion river and the rocky river. It will be very cold but the water temp warmed a little. Cleaning ice out of the eyelets is tougher ten feet away. But I gotta stretch a line and can't make a 3 hour drive one way this weekend. Anyone interested let me know.

I would if I wasn't ice fishing in mich. I have never fished the V but I have heard great things! Thanks

Dont wast your time. Reports i got on rocky today was slush city and just about froze up. Not gana get a good drift in that
