Not really. Just kinda came together. Alot of these guys have not ice fished in 20 plus years or hardly at all. Getting them all in warm shantys and rigged up has been a bit of a task. As i said, feel free to join on in ANYONE,...throw whatever you want on the grill, hang out, drink beer, shoot the crap, and even join in on our little friendly 5 buck touney :-) 

Drilled a test hole in brunswick today on small lake....had 1.5 to 2" good clear ice. Hardly any snow. Should be good to go by Thursday with these temps. Friend of mine lives near kent and said not much snow thete either so im thinking good things on the foot. Anyone hear or see anything yet?

Hey wes. I see you on other sites and have seen ya on the rocky years ago you and your friend helped me catch my first rocky river fish float fishing....it was a brown trout. You had to leave and your buddy helped me out, if you can remember..:-) anyway, nice to see you on here. I am a new guy around here myself. Seems we kinda live near each other and may have to hook up for a ice trip or two to split some gas. You sure seem like a nice helpful guy on the boards:-) cheers

Hello name is Joe.   Fish northwest ohio. Big lake erie guy. Night fished up to 2.5 weeks ago. Looks like its time fof ice. Just found this site today. Seems awesome.

Fished a small lake near Strongsville yesterday. Ice was 4" at best. 1.5 clear. Used 2 8' plank to get threw soft shore.....alot of cat tails and junk.......pulled 25 gills and a bass on the first drop :-) fished about 2.5 hrs. Firetiger tungston jig. 7 fow just out of weeds. Never moved good action. Kept 10 decent gills for a tasty meal on night...
