Title: Ice thickness 1/28/15
Post by: IceSlayer on January 28, 2015, 09:33:23 AM
Hey guys. First time member. I live about 30 minutes from buckeye. Went there about 2 weeks ago and caught around 12 keeper eyes off of north shore. Had close to 6 1/2" ice that day. Anyone have an idea of the thickness of the ice on the main lake close to CranBerry island. Im wanting to get on the Ice tomorrow. I'm assuming it is fine, but don't want to make the drive to check the ice. Thanks!

I'm out on Fairfield now with 7-8" ice. How deep were you at north shore? Were you just off the rocks?

Thanks for the info. I was about 250 yards southeast of cranberry island, in about 6ft of water. Keep me updated on ice thanks again!

Ice,    If you can bump into fishingsam in his carharts, you will have it made. He is an ice fishing guru.  Never have I seen a guy with a knack for finding the fish like fishingsam. Just sayin     .....
