Mogadore Reservoir / Clr 12/20/16

Did well for the first trip of the season. First spot I stoped at produced. 9.5 golly and 10 inch crappie big fish for the day. Glow wonder bread tungsten jig took them. Had a 4 foot pike or musky swim under the hole. Good first trip of the season.

Bought this shanty a couple of years ago. After investing some time and money she is ready to hit the ice again. Had to take the canvas off and get a new zipper. Just finished putting it back together tonight. Nice little one man. I will use her for a while then retire her to the man cave with some other old gear. I will say it's warmer than my flip. Should be able to heat it with a lantern. So if you see me say hi lol

Checked clr and palm today. Someone was out on palm 40 or 50 yards. No auger or spud with me. Looked 2-3 right by shore but I stood on water this year lol.

Camp Perry Closed to Public Ice Fishing
November 10, 2015
Port Clinton, OH – Due to facility damage incurred as a result of excessive use during the 2014-15 ice fishing season, Camp Perry officials have determined it necessary to prohibit public use of the area for ice fishing from this date forward.
Should conditions become feasible for ice fishing, parking access will be granted to guests staying overnight in a Camp Perry Lodging facility ONLY. Parking in designated areas will be authorized by display of facility-issued parking permits only. All others will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Supposed to be a press release coming out this week about it.

Planer board setup. I bought these for my boat but am going a different direction. Wille extendable mast with line and I believe the Starboard board and 32 Kumler clips. The base is home made it did not come with one and the clips have some rust on them.

Horton Summit 150 with red dot. I just upgraded my bow so this one is for sale. Shoots well and have hunted with this. It has a red dot on it. There are a couple arrows with it with muzzy broadheads.

Eskimo Quickfish 3 Hub Shanty. I bought this new less than a year ago. It has seen a handful of trips to Erie. I just got a new shanty for the season. No rips or tears and everything works as it should. Comes with ice anchors.

Great weekend on the ice. We brought home 18 for 3 days of fishing with 5 fish over 27in largest was 30. Green and chrome pimples and copper cleos took most of the fish.
