Got my boat put in Saturday and got a few hours trolling in before dark. After no ice...I was happy to finally catch a walleye! I was down to just a couple bags in the freezer...red alert!  This was today, got 8 fatties in 4.5 hours.

Got my boat put in for the season and trolled 4.5 hours and picked up a 3 man limit, almost all fish were 28" or bigger. Absolutely fantastic day on the lake! This was my "2nd personal best" at 31"  At this point we gave up trying to stuff t hem in the cooler!

Added 3 more Fish Ohios to my year to date today! 2:45 minutes to limit, what an awesome day on the ice! Oh...pay no attention to my crazy homeless person hair!

Caught her last Friday, 28.5" didn't have a scale so no idea on the weight. Been a great year so far for hogs, this is the 4th "Fish ohio" I've got since February 1st!

Pulled my boat this morning after one last final run for the season. Over 110 walleye were brought over her gunnels this year, going to try for 150 next year! So...now lets start thinking ice!

Like new, used it one time. It works...but quite frankly, once I'm in my shanty all nice and warm...I dont feel like leaving to check it. In original package with instruction book and accessories. Make an offer or something you'd like to trade. I travel almost weekly between the Lake Erie islands and Ft Wayne IN and Grand Lake St Mary's.

Throwing this out to see if anyone would be interested, fishing off Middle Bass island for walleye, get there at dawn, depart about 5 pm.
I have a heated shanty and a 4 wheeler, only thing you'd need is your favorite rod.
The details...we'd be taking my airplane up so you can't be afraid to fly. (Im a 1600 hour commercial pilot)
Important, weight in a small plane is a factor, must weigh less than 270 lbs.
Details, trip would leave from Portland Indiana from the Portland municipal airport.
Cost, aviation fuel isn't cheap and it takes $150 to make the round trip...so it would be $75 for each of us.
Picking you up at an airport on the way is no problem, the airports I pass are Lima, Findlay, Ottawa, Fostoria, Fremont.

Had an awesome day on the ice today! Had a few delays, but wound up getting on the ice and my line in the water at 11 am. Got the first walleye out in less than 2 minutes. Had 3 caught in the first 30 minutes, took another half hour to catch number four. My co-worker caught his limit after two hours. All fish (except one at 18") were around 22". Went out straight towards west sister about 3.5 miles, yellow #5 pimple...my go to color.

31" and 12.5 lbs Caught it about 2 hours ago off Middle Bass island.

Took my mom fishing today and she caught a 28" walleye! Her fish even won the largest fish contest at the local bar tonight! Gotta love living in a fishing community!
