Warm with chance of rain Sunday! Our ice is shot after the recent warmth and heavy rains!! Getting colder again next week and we can start all over again!! I've got to win the lottery and get out of here!!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Someone wants to send me a present, make it 4"-5" clear ice!! We were off to a decent start until we got all of that rain and 60 degree temps!!! Let's try it again!!!

You are more than welcome!! My cat has been gone for over 6 months and I still haven't gotten over the loss. Hang in there shipmate!! They ARE part of the family after all!!! I had my cat cremated , so he's still with me!!!

As far as the screws popping i think 2 years ago. Clam had their hardware made in China and it was junk. They have now gone back to US for the hardware and you will not have this problem. If by chance there is a problem with any Clam product they have excellent customer service.
In this day and age...makes you wonder why a manufacturer uses China for anything other than Chinese food.

Here is something a friend sent to me when I had to have my old cat put down!
The Rainbow Bridge
inspired by a Norse legend
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,

A farmer in the country noticed that a gentleman would fish at the lake (close to the farmer's house) and would always leave with a stringer full of fish.
The fellow had a boat but a fishing pole was not to be seen. The farmer mentioned the situation to the game warden. The warden then started watching this man and all that the farmer said was true! The man would arrive at the lake in the morning and by early afternoon, he had a stringer full of fish.
The warden dressed like a fisherman one day and approached the man. They exchanged pleasantries and the stranger asked the warden in disguise to come fish with him. They boated for 45 minutes and arrived at a secluded spot.
The stranger then pulled out a stick of dynamite. The warden said, "I'm going to have to place you under arrest--I am a game warden and you are fishing illegally!"
The stranger calmly lit the stick of dynamite and handed it to the warden. The stranger then said, "Are you gonna talk or fish?"
