Nice looking setup! And glad you’re enjoying the copper jig!

Seen an interesting study done on tungsten jigs. It was conducted using a 10 ft tube of water. It compared a tungsten jig to a lead jig of the same weight. It showed the tungsten jig beat the lead jig to the bottom of the 10 ft tube by only a tenth of a second,

Since I fish a lot of shallower water, I don’t use tungsten for the drop speed. It is a lot more sensitive as far as transmitting feel of a bite. That is the primary reason I use it. In ultra deep water it makes a difference on drop speed, but I like the increased feel and being in touch with the bait.

the drop speed helps because i can feel the jig better on the way down, then the constant feel while doin the jiggy jiggy, lol and that very jig has 68 whiskered wallys scored on it.
